Tim McGraw is climbing the country charts with yet another hit song. This one of from his latest album, Standing Roon Only, and is called "One Bad Habit."

Tim said in a recent interview about "One Bad Habit: “I just loved the lyric right off the bat. Then when we got into the studio, we tore it all apart and put it back together, it came out fantastic."

He added, "It was a lot slower when we first heard the demo. I love the guitar work on that song. The band picked up on the vibe I wanted to do. It was one of those songs that fell into a groove with me singing. When the record was done, we were blown away with it.”

In the same interview, McGraw revealed his one bad habit. While the country star admitted that he has many of them, he says the worst one is when his wife says pick your stuff up off the bathroom floor. He says after staying in so many hotels for 30 years, he throws stuff everywhere and leaves it a mess. McGraw confessed, "So I do that at home, and it doesn’t go over well. That’s probably the worst bad habit my wife gets on me about. But there are plenty more!"

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Tim’s first #1 "Don’t Take The Girl." The song peaked in June 1994. McGraw recalls that he sang it at the New Faces show in February '94. Backstage that night was the very first time he met his future wife, Faith Hill. Tim said, "We took a picture. My knees went weak. I was definitely smitten with her. It took her a while. I had that ugly red & black jacket on. I’m surprised she paid any attention to me.”

McGraw said he doesn't reflect on anniversaries much even though he is reminded often. He said, "I hear about it from my management, they tell me that this happened or that happened. I’m like, what’s next? I’m always looking forward. I don’t look back. I figure when I’m sitting in my rocking chair, maybe I’ll reflect. But I’m not good at reflecting. I still feel like I got a lot more in me.”

So how far off is his rocking chair? The country icon offers, "I don’t know. I still feel pretty young, I still feel pretty vibrant, I feel like I wanna make music, keep working on my craft. If I ever get to the point where I think I’m good, I should hang it up."
