Over the weekend, Tim McGraw posted the sweetest birthday message to his wife Faith Hill. He does so every year on her birthday. He does say a lot of special things about her and brags about her just a little.
The couple have three adult daughters and have been married for almost 30 years. They met in the 90s when Tim McGraw was doing a CMT tour, and Faith Hill was hired to open for him. The love affair started there, and it wasn’t too long before Tim proposed, and the couple was married on October 6, 1996.
McGraw posted the sweetest message on Saturday (9/21) on his Instagram. He wrote, "Happy birthday to this remarkable woman! My beautiful, strong, crazy, badass wife!!!! I love my girl with everything that I am and could ever hope to be! She is our beacon, our rock, our strength. The girls and I are so very blessed! Our girls could not have a better role model in their lives as how to be an incredibly strong woman. And how to believe in themselves and be in charge of their lives (every aspect of their lives)! Let's honor the women in our lives with respect and make sure that we fight for their rights right alongside them!"
Many of Tim and Faith’s diehard fans commented on the sweet post. One fan wrote, "Thank you for being on the right side of history, @thetimmcgraw!" Another fan said, "Thanks for speaking out - a new fan. And happy birthday to your wife." One more fan commented, "Wonderful to see a real man support woman’s rights; stand by his wife and raise girls with strength!! Bravo Tim!!!"
McGraw works hard to , even when he's on the road. He is arguably one of the fittest guys in country music, with a workout routine on the road consisting of three multi-hour sessions per day before he takes the stage that night.
Part of what makes Tim’s workouts on the road possible is the mobile gym he travels with, which we asked him to tell us about.
McGraw told us, "Well, there’s a lot of equipment in there for sure. You know, it’s just your standard weights and punching bags and all that kind of stuff. We also have like an infrared sauna in there, which is good for muscle cover."
He added, "And I have an ice bath in there, which is the last thing I do at the end of the day before I get ready for the show."
