Luke Bryan Is A Busy Guy But Happy Where He’s At
Luke Bryan is one of the busiest and hardest-working guys in Nashville today. Even though Luke is at the top of his game, he still takes the time to do interviews and promote and work hard, whether it’s American Idol on TV, hitting the road on his big tours that he has every year, or making new music, Bryan finds a way to make it all happen and still be a family man that’s present in his family’s life.
Luke told us in a recent interview, promoting his new Mind Of A Country Boy album, how he makes it all happen. He said, “Getting home and decompressing and being a husband and a father of all these boys, it’s just like I’ll leave right after here, you know, the boys wanna grill out, so I’m gonna be rushing home to grill out, and watch the sunset.”
He continued, “I was at football games last night. I look back in my first year in the business. I did 320 shows in a year… you try to slow it down and you try to say the word no but you know sometimes opportunities come up, and you can’t say no.”
The country star concluded, “The bottom line is I’m still happy doing all this. I’m not walking around wishing things were a different way and depressed about this decision and that decision. I’m really at peace with everything, every decision up to this point.”

Bryan‘s new album Mind Of A Country Boy came out last week (9/27). As Luke told us recently, the album is a little more mature with the subject matter than his past albums.
He told us, “I remember being 35, 36 years old at spring break with my spring break albums going, ‘It’s probably time to hang this thing up.’ But I’ve always kind of leaned toward youthful fun, you know, just fun party music. I hadn’t been just that, but I think I’ve kind of been put in that category, which I love and I’ve enjoyed. And when people come to my show, I think they come to have a great time.”
Luke added, “But this album there’s more mature type subject matters. And when I’m making it’s not like I have a mood board and we have a thought team of people. It’s just me cutting the stuff that gets me.”
