Morgan Wallen is riding high after his double sold-out shows at Neyland Stadium near his hometown in East Tennessee. His most recent One Thing at a Time album has been certified seven times platinum by the RIAA, selling over seven million copies. He's just released a brand new song called "Love Somebody."

As Morgan told us, this song is a little bit different for him. He said, “'Love Somebody' is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically. I wanted to try something different, with what I wanted to talk about, how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences."

Wallen added, "I'm really excited about this song and pumped that it is out.”

“Love Somebody” was written by Wallen alongside John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv, and Ryan Vojtesak. In the song, Morgan offers a candid glimpse at the difficulties of finding someone “Who ain't hypnotized / By dollar signs and blindin' lights,” as he searches for authenticity.

The lyrics to "Love Somebody" include, "I just wanna love somebody / Who won't leave a hole in my heart / I just wanna love somebody / That don't want me fallin' apart / And I'll be lucky if I ever find / A somethin' more than just a crazy night / I just wanna love somebody."

In other news, Wallen, AEG Presents (producers of Stagecoach, California’s Country Music Festival and Hangout Music Festival) and the Hangout Festival is proud to announce the debut of "Sand In My Boots." The new three-day music festival and beach vacation is set to take place on the Hangout Festival site on the idyllic shores of Gulf Shores, Alabama, May 16-18, 2025.

Morgan is excited for this opportunity to connect with his fans in a new way with "Sand In My Boots." This one-of-a-kind festival features a highly curated multi-genre lineup with some of his closest friends, favorite artists, and those who have inspired him, and that he has always wanted to perform with.

Every artist, activity, and experience will be handpicked by Wallen, driven by his excitement to share great music and create memories with fans, friends, family, and peers.

The complete "Sand In My Boots" lineup and ticketing details will be announced soon. The central location of Gulf Shores, Alabama is a three-hour drive from New Orleans, six hours from Atlanta, and eight hours from Nashville.
