Jelly Roll is one of country music's busiest stars these days as he continues touring on His "Beautifully Broken Tour." Jelly had a recent and rare day off this week in between tour dates, and he went to the land that he and his wife had just purchased in his home state of Tennessee.

Jelly posted a lengthy video on his Instagram of himself on his newly purchased land, and the singer got quite emotional.

He says in the video in part that his father never purchased land or had a farm when he was growing up, and when his father died, it was one of his biggest regrets.

Wearing a Tennessee Titans ball cap, Jelly says, as he tears up, that his father gave him advice to buy dirt and get some land.

He continued, "Today I had an off day between St. Louis and Knoxville, and I came home for the first time in a long time while I was gone, my wife and… I don’t wanna get emotional. I don’t wanna cry." He then cuts to a moment after drying his eyes and says, "My wife and I purchased 500 acres, and we closed on it while I was gone, and I have not been able to come to this land since we bought it y’all. This is my first time standing on this property."

He takes a deep breath, "I came here today to pray over it. I came here to walk barefoot in it, and most of all I got my phone out of my pocket to look in your eyes and say thank you. I was never brave enough to dream that I would be here like this today, thank you all for the success of Beautifully Broken. Thank you for changing my life, man. I am standing here breaking a generational curse right now, and I hope it inspires you all to do the same. I love you all."

The video clip has swear words in it. See the post here.

Jelly Roll recently shared a personal milestone on his Instagram this week. He has lost 100 pounds, marking the halfway point on his goal of losing 200 pounds after this tour.

In a video clip, his nutritionist and trainer talked about Jelly‘s progress, "We just passed the halfway point of the tour, and Jelly’s been crushing it."

The nutritionist, who travels with Jelly on his current 2024 "Beautifully Broken Tour," added, "We’re either walking [around] the arena, playing basketball, boxing. He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss."

Jelly Roll says at the beginning of the video clip, "Next year, when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me. I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never had."

The Instagram post was captioned, "Quick halfway point tour update from @cheflarios."
