Jelly Roll’s Bar Will Have Floor Dedicated To Bunnie
Last year, Jelly Roll announced that he is opening a bar in downtown Nashville called Goodnight Nashville, located at 209 Broadway in the former home of the Trail West boot store. According to the Nashville Business Journal, the five-story bar will have a tattoo theme, a rooftop that’s the tallest in Music City, and a back bar called Buddy’s Bar. Buddy’s Bar is named after Jelly Roll’s late father, Horace “Buddy” DeFord, and will include a memorial chair.
The bar will also have a floor dedicated to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie, and his wife posted her reaction to seeing that floor’s progress on Instagram in a video clip. She captioned the clip, “It’s level 2 at Goodnight Nashville babies! I expect to see all my bunnies there this summer, I’ll be there too!”
The bar’s marquee sign will be yellow and black and feature a skull wearing a crown of Nashville’s skyline. The sign will also have side tabs in red that read “burgers,” “spirits,” and “tattoos.”
The bar is expected to open this summer.

Jelly Roll’s Phone
For the second year in a row in the month of December, Jelly got rid of his phone so he could spend more time with his family instead of having his face in his phone. It’s something Jelly did last year, not long after the CMA awards, where he won the Best New Artist honor.
Bunnie XO posted a video of her standing next to his daughter Bailee and Jelly on a bridge over the Cumberland River on her TikTok. She wrote over the video clip, “Watch my husband throw his phone in the Cumberland River. Here we go!”
Bunnie says at the top of the video clip, “We’re witnessing the annual Jelly Roll gets rid of his phone saga.”
Jelly says, looking at the camera for the last time, “You know how I throw my phone out all the time? We’re at the Cumberland River at the Shelby Street walkway. Mama, I love you, baby. I love you. I look forward to spending my time at home with you, mama, with no outside interference.”
The singer then throws his phone into the river and you can hear it hit the water and sink.
Bunnie captioned the video, “We’re sorry, Jelly can’t come to the phone right now. #BaileeandBunnie.”
