Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Electrify TPC Scottsdale with First Joint Concert
Music stars Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton lit up TPC Scottsdale over the weekend. Their first joint performance kicked off just ahead of the WM Phoenix Open tournament.
The adults-only show, part of the “Concert in the Coliseum” series, pulled in thousands of fans. Previous shows have featured stars like Post Malone and Maroon 5 on the golf course stage.
Stefani opened the show with a blend of solo hits and No Doubt favorites. Her 14-song set had fans moving to “The Sweet Escape,” belting out “Don’t Speak,” and bouncing to “Hollaback Girl.”
When Shelton took the stage, he commanded the night with 19 country hits. The crowd cheered for “Austin” and “Honey Bee.” His cover of George Strait’s “All My Exes Live in Texas” had fans moving before he wrapped up with “God Gave Me You.”
Their musical connection began years ago. In a modern love story, they created “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” by sharing lyrics through text messages.
The couple first performed together at Country Jam 16 in 2016. Stefani caught fans off guard when she joined her then-boyfriend during his set.
At TPC Scottsdale, both performers stayed true to their styles. While Stefani delivered her signature ska-pop energy, Shelton kept it country, mixing in Alabama’s “Mountain Music.”
Organizers distributed detailed arrival times and parking instructions to manage the huge crowd. They focused on keeping fans comfortable while getting ready for the upcoming golf tournament.
This performance adds another highlight to the WM Phoenix Open’s entertainment lineup. These pre-tournament shows fill the venue every year, mixing sports and music.
