Miranda Lambert Defends Tour with Controversial Star Morgan Wallen Amid Fan Criticism
Country star Miranda Lambert will hit the road with Morgan Wallen when the “I’m The Problem Tour” kicks off June 20, 2025. Live Nation has organized this huge 19-stadium run across the United States.
The stadium shows feature a star-studded roster, including Koe Wetzel, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, and Anne Wilson. A share of each ticket sold goes to the Morgan Wallen Foundation’s support of youth sports and music.
Fans were split in their reactions. Supporters went head-to-head with those questioning her decision to open rather than headline. The Texas shows caused extra buzz – Lambert’s no-show at her home state dates raised questions, as Wetzel and Kent fill in for those shows.
This move breaks new ground for the award-winning singer, who usually headlines her own tours. One fan put it bluntly: “You are not a side dish. You are a main course.”
The news stirred up debate after Lambert took to Instagram to address critics of her tour mate. “It’s not wrong, but it’s not right,” Lambert told Parade.
Coming off her September 2024 album “Postcards from Texas,” Lambert isn’t backing down from her tour decision. She stresses the importance of supporting other artists and moving past previous controversies.
Tickets are on sale now.
