The Wilder Blue: Texas Supergroup Drops Fan-Funded Album ‘Still In The Runnin” March 2025
Moving away from record labels, The Wilder Blue is set to release their crowd-funded album “Still In The Runnin” next month. The Texas-based group stayed independent, relying on fan support instead of industry backing.
Since coming together in 2019, they’ve made two major moves: signing with WME for bookings and getting new management. Lead singer Zane Williams wrote nine original songs while touring across the country.
The five-member band includes Paul Eason, Sean Rodriguez, Andy Rogers, and Lyndon Hughes. Their music blends elements of country, bluegrass, and folk-rock with rich vocal harmonies.
They got a big break when Luke Combs chose them for his ‘Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old’ tour.
They released their first album ‘Hill Country’ under a different name in 2020. Their self-titled follow-up two years later caught attention throughout the industry.
They struck gold with their newest single – a live recording from Red Rocks. Fans can pre-save the March release on streaming platforms now.
After selling out shows and making important deals, they’re continuing their independent journey. Reviews compare their harmonies to 70s vocal groups, while noting their modern take on country and rock traditions.
Their current tour includes both headlining shows and opening slots. Through live performances and direct fan engagement, they’re growing their following one show at a time.
