Kid Rock Storms Off Stage at Bon Jovi Keyboardist’s Birthday Bash After Audience Clash
Kid Rock cut his performance short at JBJ’s Nashville on February 8, 2025, walking off stage during what was meant to be a birthday celebration for David Bryan, just days after showing up at Trump’s MAGA Victory Rally.
“It feels like the rebirth of our nation,” the musician told Fox News.
The night began well with “Proud Mary,” featuring Bryan on keyboards. But things went downhill fast. Before leaving, Rock told the crowd: “If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing.”
This incident follows other controversial moments from the singer. He made headlines after shooting Bud Light cans with automatic weapons in a video that went viral. He’s been a loyal Trump supporter since the beginning of his presidency.
“Toughest son of a b**** on Earth,” he said about Trump during his Tucker Carlson interview.
Rock hit it big in the ’90s with “Devil Without a Cause.” The album became a massive success, going platinum 14 times thanks to hits like “Bawitdaba” and “Cowboy.”
Speaking about celebrity support for the president-elect, Rock suggested stars feel more comfortable now. “Now they feel it’s safe to go in the water after dipping their toe in it for four to eight years.”
Looking ahead, Rock is set to hit the road with Nickelback for their “Rock the Country” tour starting March 2025.
