Valentine’s Day Gifts To Not Get The Person You Love The Most
Valentine’s Day Gifts can be really tough to get right. In the end of the day, it’s about what’s from the heart. We know that! But, also keep in mind that you can’t just mail it in every year, you have to step it up.
As a married man, I know first hand how hard it is to get Valentine’s Day gifts right so I wrote a song from the perspective of a woman who’s significant other just can’t quite get it right. Yes, some of these gifts I’ve actually gotten my wife.
Valentine’s Day Gifts Ten Minute Tune
Every Thursday, I am tasked with rewriting a song to sing about something going on in the world. Here’s the song about the bad Valentine’s Day!
Sing A Long With The Lyrics!!
Valentine’s Day is coming soon
Hopefully I get a nice gift from you
Because in years past you’ve dropped the ball
I put this reminder into a song!
One year was a massage with one issue
A handwritten coupon where you’re the masseuse
That’s real cute from our five year old
But I need something that is bought and sold
One year I got a new toaster
A pair of socks the year after
Then there was the nose trimmer
You can do better than a new pool skimmer.
But at the end of the day you are my rock
Even though for our wedding you got me crocs
No matter how bad the gifts you choose.
I’m gonna love you!
Here’s The Original Song!
Jeff was tasked to take Carrie Underwood and Cody Johnson’s “I’m Gonna Love You,” but to sing all about Valentine’s Day gifts that don’t live up!
What Is A Ten Minute Tune?
Every week, Jeff Kurkjian is tasked with writing a Ten Minute Tune! You pick the song that we play on the radio station and then a topic, he rewrites the lyrics and then performs in LIVE on the air!

How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?
Once could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.
I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I’ve loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!
It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
