Kelsea Ballerini Refuses To Take A ‘Cheap Shot’
Kelsea Ballerini appeared on Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Instagram “Cheap Shots” series and refused to deal a cheap shot to her fellow coaches on The Voice: John Legend, Adam Levine, and Michael Buble.
Kelsea reads the question: “Rank your fellow Voice coaches from most to least talented.”
She says to the camera, “That’s insane of you.” She then names her fellow coaches and says, “I’m on a group chat that lights up anytime any of us talks about each other. I can not do this. I can not do it, and I won’t. I simply won’t.” She takes a sip of a “shot” and notes to the crew, “That was nice,” commenting on the great taste of the shot. She then asked, “That wasn’t the cheap shot?” and the director confirms, “No.”
The country star added, “I will say, I love and adore all three of these guys. They are good humans and great artists, and none of them are the least talented. Period.”

Ballerini recently faced some pregnancy rumors, and she was quick to shut them down in her own way on TikTok.
These rumors started swirling after Ballerini had to postpone some shows earlier this month due to illness. In her TikTok clip, she appeared on the screen in a black winter coat, a ball cap, and eye masks. Included with the clip was a fan comment asking, “Maybe pregnant?” Kelsea looked down in the video clip and sighed, then said in a deadpan voice, “Or maybe it’s the flu.” She then sniffled and added, “Yeah. Cool.”
Ballerini and her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, are still going strong after they started dating back in January 2023. The country star and the actor celebrated their two-year anniversary on January 7.
Kelsea is back on the road and playing shows this week on her headling arena tour. She recently posted about playing a show in Philadelphia after the Eagles’ Super Bowl win, where she wore an Eagles jersey on stage. She wrote, “just what the doctor ordered.”
