Rascal Flatts’ 2025 Tour Revives Hits & Humor
After taking five years off, Rascal Flatts is back on stage. Their 2025 Life Is a Highway Tour kicked off February 13, with Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane getting the crowds going.
“In 2020, we announced the farewell tour after being on the road extensively for 20 years. To put it simply, we needed a break. Then COVID hit and our plans came to a screeching halt, like the rest of the world. Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band and we’re ready to get out on the road again,” the band said.
Breaking their musical drought, the band dropped “I Dare You,” their first song since 2020. Nick Jonas and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay penned the track.
The shows features all the hits that made them famous. Fans belt out “These Days,” “Life Is a Highway,” and “Here Comes Goodbye.” The lineup includes “Fast Cars and Freedom,” “Mayberry,” “My Wish,” and the wedding favorite “Bless the Broken Road.”
At their Valentine’s Day show in Charleston, West Virginia, a random sports chant erupted during “Sweet Caroline.” DeMarcus stopped the music, joking about Sunday church attendance.
As the band celebrates 25 years in country music, they’re planning to bring more special guests to the stage in the months ahead.
