Vince Gill Announces 50th Anniversary Tour with All-Star Band and Ryman Residency
Vince Gill, one of country music’s most enduring and celebrated artists, has announced an expansive 50th-anniversary tour to honor his legendary career. With over 30 scheduled performances, the tour will kick off on May 8, 2025, in Rochester, New York, and wrap up with a special four-night residency at the Ryman Auditorium from August 13-16, 2025—a homecoming moment for Gill and his devoted fans.
Gill, who has recorded over 20 studio albums, sold more than 26 million records, and charted over 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, remains one of music’s most respected figures. His career spans not only country but also rock and pop, where his signature voice and guitar work have left a lasting impact.
Reflecting on the milestone, Gill shared his enthusiasm for returning to the stage. “I left home 50 years ago to try and become an accomplished musician and perform in front of whoever would show up. All these years later, it feels as special today as it ever did,” Gill stated.
The tour will feature an all-star band, including Jim “Moose” Brown, Wendy Moten, and Eddie Dunlap, ensuring a show filled with musical camaraderie. Fans will recognize Moten from Gill’s 2022 Ryman residency, where her powerhouse vocals captivated audiences.
With 22 Grammy Awards, 18 CMA Awards, and a Country Music Hall of Fame induction in 2007, Gill’s influence in the industry is undeniable. From his early days with the bluegrass band Mountain Smoke to collaborations with some of the world’s most renowned artists, he has always prioritized authenticity and joy in his music.
Tickets for the tour go on sale February 21, 2025, with select show dates announced. Fans can expect a mix of Gill’s timeless hits, deep cuts, and special musical surprises along the way.
