Nicole Kidman Reveals Postpartum Struggles
Nicole Kidman has been named one of the Women Of The Year by Time Magazine, and the Oscar winner did the interview near the Nashville home she shares with her husband, Keith Urban, and their two daughters.
In the new interview, Nicole talked about the early days after giving birth to one of their daughters. She said she found herself unable to breastfeed. She revealed, “I was so terrified, asking, What just happened? Where’s my milk? I remember standing naked in the shower, and my sister helped me. She was my source of strength. She’d had five children—she had the wisdom to pass on.”
Urban and Kidman’s oldest daughter, Sunday Rose, was born in Nashville on July 7, 2008. Their second daughter, Faith Margaret, was born a few years later via surrogacy.
Kidman also talked to the publication about what she would consider her “Dream Dinner Party.” She said when asked who she would invite, “The weirdest thing is, it would be my family. My grandmother, my mother, my father, my grandfather. I would want to be surrounded by the family that is left, and then I’d want to meet my great-grandparents.”
She concluded, “I know normally people will say famous people, but no, for me, it would be my ancestors.”

In other news: A thief broke through a window at Kidman and Urban’s LA home this past weekend. Staff discovered the break-in at their massive Beverly Hills property while the couple was away.
According to TMZ, the burglar ran off when workers came back to the 3,977-square-foot house. Police are still looking for suspects and figuring out what was stolen, though it’s not yet clear what items were taken.
This break-in is just the latest in a string of brazen celebrity home robberies across LA. Recently, burglars took $500,000 worth of jewelry from the home of soccer star Olivier Giroud.
Keith and Nicole bought the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home back in 2008. A beautiful wraparound deck sits on the second floor.
When the break-in happened, Urban was performing at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. His shows will keep going until February 22.
