Blake Shelton: Being Away From The Road Can ‘Break My Heart’
Blake Shelton embarks on his yearly tour this weekend with dates going through February and March. While Blake has cut back over the years and doesn’t tour that many dates like so many country stars do, he does love being on tour performing for his fans.
Shelton told us, “You know the main thing that I look forward to these days, and I guess honestly I always have, is my live performances, and even though I’m the first to say that too much time on the road can wear me down, too much time away from the road can break my heart.”
Shelton’s “Friends and Heroes” tour kicks of on Thursday (Feb. 27) in Lexington, Ky. A full list of tour dates is below.

In other news: Shelton and his wife, Gwen Stefani, have been married for four years, and the couple are still going strong , often posting on their social media their love for one another.
Blake recently talked with us about Gwen and being at home with each other. He said, “She comes to Oklahoma, and it’s not like this now, but at first, she had to have felt like ‘Where am I? What is this place?’ This is not how she grew up, and the same goes for me. I’d go to LA, and it’s like, ‘What is this place? How do I fit in here?’ And I would still feel that way if she wasn’t there.”
He added, “You know, and I think the same thing with her for when she comes to Oklahoma, it’s just that’s what completes the journey for us. It’s just as long as we’re together, it really doesn’t matter.”
The famous couple has several hit songs together, sharing their love, including their first duet in 2019, the number one song, “Nobody But You.”
