Ella Langley: Breakout Hit ‘You Look Like You Love Me’ Tops Charts, Wins CMA Award
Ella Langley grabbed her first No. 1 on Country Airplay with “You Look Like You Love Me,” featuring Riley Green.
The song went on to win a CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year. It all began during a laid-back writing session in Nashville when Langley connected with songwriter Aaron Raitiere.
Lightning struck as they pieced together verse after verse, drawing from life’s crazy moments. Raitiere’s quirky style had him bouncing between tasks while they hammered out the lyrics.
“I thought it would just be played around the bonfire,” Langley stated at this year’s Country Radio Seminar. But her manager, Maya Hansen, spotted bigger possibilities and pushed for its placement on “Excuse the Mess.”
Radio stations ate up the hit song. As plays increased, streaming numbers exploded, taking the duet to new levels.
The team-up created something magical. Green asked Langley to join him on his Damn Country Music Tour kicking off March 2025.
Her success keeps snowballing. Sold-out crowds showed up at every stop of the Still Hungover Tour. She broke female attendance records at a major Texas stadium in 2024.
This success comes after years of grinding in Nashville. Through endless touring and radio backing, she’s created a dedicated fanbase that just keeps getting bigger.
The upcoming tour spans the country. Fans will see her in both massive stadiums and cozy clubs, each spot bringing its own vibe.
The buzz for live shows keeps growing. From intimate venues to packed arenas, tickets sell out quick. The tour runs deep into late 2025.
