Maddie & Tae Announce New Album ‘Love & Light’ with Fresh Single ‘Kissing Cowboys’
Mercury Nashville is releasing Maddie & Tae’s fourth studio album “Love & Light” on May 2, 2025. The album features 16 songs, including their current hit “Kissing Cowboys” plus two other previously released tracks.
Josh Kerr, Chris LaCorte, and Corey Crowder produced the project. Through honest vocals and powerful lyrics, the album tells stories of self-discovery and life’s unexpected turns. Key tracks include “Fall in Love & Find Out,” “Only Jesus,” and “Drunk Girls in Bathrooms.”
Taylor Kerr noted on MaddieAndTae.com that fans want songs that show real experiences about being single, relationships, and personal growth.
Their journey began at a Dallas vocal showcase in 2010. Four years later, Dot Records signed them. They quickly made waves with “Girl in a Country Song,” which challenged country music’s traditional stereotypes.
Now they pack venues across the country. Font, Kerr, Luke Dick, and Laura Veltz penned their latest hit “Kissing Cowboys,” which blends traditional country with contemporary style.
Outside of music, they’ve ventured into fashion with AQUA clothing. This adds another milestone to their 14-year journey as performers.
The new album stays true to their strengths – turning real life into music. Each song draws from genuine experiences, from finding personal strength to celebrating friendships through life changes.
With hits and awards to their name, they continue to grow. This latest work proves they know how to combine authentic stories with contemporary sounds.
