Darius Rucker Sets Canadian Tour
Darius Rucker will bring his signature sound to Canada this fall with his “Darius Rucker Live” tour. The eight-city trek kicks off on October 15 at Abbotsford Centre in Abbotsford, BC, making stops across Canada in cities including Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and more before wrapping up on October 26 at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, ON.
The tour comes as Rucker continues to celebrate the success of his latest album, Carolyn’s Boy, featuring hits like his No. 1 single “Beers and Sunshine” and “Ol’ Church Hymn” (featuring Chapel Hart). Known for his dynamic stage presence and genre-spanning hits, Rucker’s Canadian fans can expect an unforgettable night filled with both classic anthems and new favorites.
Darius told me a few years ago about the importance of his opening acts. He said, “When you do tours, the opening acts are so important ‘cause you want to put guys in the seats, but you also want to entertain your fans, you know, the people who are there to see you. And for me also, one of the prerequisites is I gotta have guys that I can hang out with and go sit down and have dinner with and maybe play a round of golf with or drink a beer with after the show and before the show.”
His opening act for these Canadian dates will be newcomer Tyler Braden.
