Did you know that thousands of United States veterans have money allotted to them? The problem is, they do not know how to get it. Just like John Rich, you, too can help! For every bottle of the singer's Redneck Riviera whiskey a donation will be made to the VFW's Return the Favor campaign.

Return the Favor Campaign

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) "Return the Favor" campaign is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to honoring, celebrating, and supporting active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Established by the VFW Foundation, this campaign focuses on providing essential programs and services that address the unmet needs of military personnel and their loved ones.

Mission

The "Return the Favor" campaign offers a range of support services to help fill the gaps for our veterans. These include financial aid for military families facing urgent situations, free communication resources for deployed troops, VIP experiences at entertainment events, and morale-boosting activities for military units. All services are non-political, provided at no cost, and do not require VFW membership.

John Rich and Return the Favor

A few years ago, country music star John Rich reached out blindly to the VFW to see if there was something he could do to help veterans. Rich told the VFW, “I didn’t know anybody there. This was about three years ago when I started calling people hoping we could do something together to help impact veterans.” Since then, Rich's Redneck Riviera brand helped raise funds for the VFW in many ways, including the most recent Return the Favor campaign.

The collaboration aims to bolster the VFW’s National Veterans Service (NVS) program, which provides free, VA-accredited representation to veterans navigating the claims process. Rich highlighted the campaign's efficiency, noting that a $1 donation can result in $1,585 in benefits for a veteran, ensuring lifetime access to care.

How You Can Help

The "Return the Favor" campaign has made significant strides in supporting veterans and their families. For instance, VFW-accredited representatives assist thousands of veterans annually, securing over $13 billion in VA benefits and compensation.

You can help by donating, joining existing fundraising teams, or creating their own. More information is available HERE.

Through "Return the Favor," the VFW continues its unwavering commitment to those who have served, ensuring they receive the support and recognition they rightfully deserve.
