Every single week on The Andie Summers Show, Jeff writes a song in ten minutes and today it is all about College Graduation! What an important time in the lives of so many, and Jeff tries to tap right into that.
Morgan Wallen's original song, "I'm The Problem" is the one we will be hearing a brand new version of today! Here's that great song.
Here's Jeff's Version about college graduation!
Sing A Long Here!
After years and years
I’ve been going to school since two thousand eight
Been studying with my peers
Cause it’s time to graduate.
What should I do next?
I don’t even have a job but I just downloaded LinkedIn
A lot of rejection this season!
Even though I’m a graduate
Every job needs two to three years
Of job experience
Then why do I even keep tryin’?
I thought that my degree
Would be helping me all of this way
Now that I’m a real human being things are a bit scary
And it got me thinkin'
I have an idea!
Move in with my parents!
How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?
One could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.
I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I've loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!
It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
