Intern Insights
Hi! I’m Danny the intern and each week I’m going to pull back the curtain to see behind the scenes on The Andie Summers Show!

Hi everyone!
I’m Danny, and I’m very excited to be the intern for The Andie Summers Show this summer!
Welcome to Intern Insights, a brand-new blog where I’ll be giving you a behind-the-scenes look at life in the studio. Each week, I’ll be sharing a little bit about what I do here, plus some of the funny moments that happen when the microphones are off (and trust me, there are plenty of them).
A little about me: I’m from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and I’m heading into my senior year at Immaculata University, where I study Communications. I’m also the captain of the men’s soccer team and stay busy with a few different clubs on campus. Even though sports have been a big part of my life, country music has always been my favorite. Growing up, I remember riding in the backseat listening to George Strait, Jason Aldean, and Rascal Flatts on repeat. (Thank you, Mom and Dad!)
Here are a few fun facts about me:
- My first country concert was Kenny Chesney when I was eight.
- My family has a one-year-old puppy named Sammy. (That’s him in the picture)
- My dad has worked in Major League Baseball for over 40 years.
- I’ve been to eight World Series games.
- I fell asleep during the Phillies’ 2008 World Series Parade (My mom has the photo to prove it).
- Before this internship, I worked with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Union.
I’m so thankful to be part of The Andie Summers Show. Andie, Jeff, Donnie, and Shannon are some of the most talented and genuine people that I have gotten to work with, and I am looking forward to learning more from them.
This weekend, I’ll be heading to the Barefoot Country Music Fest in Wildwood for the first time. I am very excited for the festival and looking forward to a weekend filled with great country music! If you see me there, come and say hi!
