A song about loud snoring is what Americans need right now. Donnie of The Andie Summers Show has been diagnosed with REALLY bad sleep apnea, and now uses a CPAP at night that has really changed his life, it's incredible.
So the Summers Squad decided to have me sing about Donnie's journey which includes his horrendous snoring that we've all heard on the radio from the clips he shared. They picked the song "Darlin'" by Chase Matthew, here's the original.
Loud Snoring Song To Help You Feel Heard
Sing A Long
Why you always snorin’? Sounds a lot like roarin’
Can’t you tell that you are shaking all our floorin’?
Should we sleep in separate bedrooms? If that then we will not spoon
Now I know that our love life will be a little borin’
Let’s find out why you’re snorin’! Yeah
We have to see a doctor, constructions what it sounds like,
When you be snoring in this house, sounds like a motor bike
A visit to a sleep doctor might help you out a lot
Our neighborhood will be real good if we get you to stop
We’ll get you a c-pap, or a shock collar,
Want to help you ole chap, so you’ll stop that holler
Let’s stop all the snorin’ so you can sleep til mornin’
Think of all that you can do like some explorin’
We want you to sleep better, like cozy in a sweater
Your wife would be so very happy, I would bet her
So let’s end all your snorin’
How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?
One could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.
I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I've loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!
It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
