This is a question that we can only answer in song! Spooky Season, in my humble opinion, doesn't really start until October, right? Would you agree? I make a compelling case when it comes to this argument but I put it in a song.

The original song I changed the lyrics for this week is "Backup Plan" by our friends, Luke Combs and Bailey Zimmerman! Take a listen and jam out to that song!

Spooky Season Song, Kind Of

I love a good spooky season, don't get me wrong but it's just all happening way too early! Watch the Ten Minute Tune here!

Sing A Long

Labor Day just happened it’s fall

Pumpkin spice, that’s nice for all

September is the month we’re in, Football is back again

Not spooky season please do no jump ahead

But already seeing some stores

Spirit Halloween has opened its doors

Kids just went to school, but you’re talking about a ghoul

It ain’t time for haunted house tours

So, if you want spooky, it’s too early

If you want a witches hat, oh no girlie

If in your closet you’ve got a skelly

Leave it there until the end of month

It’s not Halloween, don’t need the cobwebs

Enjoy what I’m offerin’, here’s what I said is,

I can promise you, it’s almost time for spook

But just wait for a few more weeks

Even though it’s fall, not quite spooky season for me!

How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?

One could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.

I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I've loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!

It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
