Colonoscopy prep, they say it's worse than the actual procedure, I can agree with that honestly. But, I decided to put the experience in a song so that everyone can learn a little bit about how this is going down.

First we have to start with the original song, I change the lyrics and rewrite it all in just ten minutes. I took the song "Heart Of Stone" by Jelly Roll!

Colonoscopy Prep Song To Make You Smile

So using THAT song, we create a Ten Minute Tune to sing about the experience of getting a colonoscopy.

Sing A Long!

Oh no it is my time. I've hit that certain age.

I feel like I’m in my prime, but my doc don’t feel the same

I gotta get a check up, well a little more than that

I hope that they don’t mess up, when they go right in my crack

On my side, they knock me out

If I weren’t asleep you know I’d shout

I’m fast asleep and they’re looking

Trying to see if there is something wrong, it won’t take long

The prep is really the worst thing

Drink that drink so you can clean your bowels, man that is foul

Doctors and nurses man they are the best

They make you feel like you’re up to the test

And then you can rest!!

Then you can restttttt!!

How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?

One could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.

I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I've loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!

It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
